A must-have is the Blue Ribbon special fried chicken . Coated with wasabi and comes with honey on the side for you to dip into. Simply divine!! Sushi is good too as is pork-belly skewer .
The sushi and oysters are superb, sake lovely, desserts were yummy (esp the black sesame mochi ) and staff is very sweet. I went with my 9 year old who loved it. Go early for ease of seating.
Late night (fantastic) sushi ! also had the Santa Barbara & Maine uni since they were out of Hokkaido. It was all superb!
Sit at the bar and observe the talented sushi masters prepare elaborate plates. Excellent variety of sushi menu options for the very to less adventurous. Quiet and attentive service .
Incredible #sushi ! A great unpretentious spot that isn't overpriced. Really cosy and the food is spot on. The kale salad and mushroom miso is tip top
You cannot leave without ordering the oxtail fried rice with bone marrow ! Also they serve the same fried chicken as the sister restaurant and fast food joint downtown but with a honey wasabi .
Their ox-tail bone marrow fried rice is so good, as anticipated! The bone marrow comes enveloped in a tiny egg omelette on top though and is not exactly proportional, and is $5 for an extra one.
I ordered the fried chicken due to a number of recommendations, and was not disappointed (the Kale Salad was also a great accompaniment). I sat at the bar , and service was still impeccable.
The shiitake in the shiitake roll is served slightly warm, and between that and the yumminess of the sushi rice and nori , the whole roll tastes just incredible.
Incredible meal. The sashimi was perfect, and the sale selection is great. Try the scallops and pork belly and get a nama sake
Skip the mixed seaweed salad $15 and order the sautéed mushroom salad $15 and sashimi 12 pieces $32.
The green tea martini is delicious. Great sushi .
High quality sushi / sashimi for a late night dinner . And japanese IPA beer !
NOM NOM NOM. not 1 bad thing to say about this place. everything from the raw to the cooked is phenomenal here. dare i say it's one of the best sushi/grill joints in Manhattan?
Oysters , fried chicken , oxtail fried rice all very successful. Personally their fried chicken with unique sauce is the best
Nice relaxing place and very good food. A really great MISO soup , the best I have ever tried.
A great place to go for a late night dinner for those of us on West Coast time. Surprisingly child friendly ; loud music & general chaos makes the additional chaos of small children barely noticeable.
The sushi and fried chicken are awesome - can be quite noisy though. Great hidden gem in the neighborhood .
Try the Oxtail Fried Rice - This is amazing. Some of the best fried rice I've ever had. The egg on top is apparently a bone marrow omelette . So good.
Bone marrow fried rice , shishito peppers , come to think of it you can't go wrong with anything on the menu
Oxtail bone marrow fried rice is amazing. Dynamite app - scallops with mushrooms and roe , also excellent.
Dinner reservations are only for 5 or more. They only seat complete parties for dinner and if it becomes less than 5, the reservation goes on the waitlist

Try the Fried Chicken “Blue Ribbon Style” With Wasabi & Honey Dipping Sauce - This is incredible. So juicy with very crispy skin
One of my favorite Japanese restaurant ever. Try the duck and the passion fruit Mochi 💗
I went just for sushis and found it average: salmon was quite good, tuna could tasty fresher. The spicy maki tuna was absolutely no special. 40€ per person for a light lunch was too much
We tasted more than 6 kind of sushi and all were great. Servive and respectful personal make difference.
High quality food. Perfect place for a late night dinner , maybe a bit pricey .
My favs are: house salad and ikura saki . Mmmm. If u like pure salmon maki , simple, not mix of everything in small maki piece ...this is it.
Flash fried mackerel , green tea creme brûlée , sake menu, and a witty staff are among the pleasures. Also maki combos get you out under $30 a head
Try the Sushi Deluxe - Albacore , fluke, yellowtail , tuna , eel , ikura , horse mackerel , salmon and a spicy tuna roll
Sushi is the freshest I've had on the entire UWS... And the fried chicken is to die for. Can't imagine there is a bad thing on the menu!
For a good time, try the Salmon Ikura Maki . Wonderful sushi bar
perfect food, but quite expensive . Spicy rolls are worth tasting!
Their fish is so fresh and delicious. Be a purist and stick with sashimi or nigiri . Also, the oxtail fried rice is not to be missed! Read more
Sushi is overpriced for the preparation but it's the only Japanese place open super late nite in this area.
The kale salad is vegan and, more importantly, unbelievably tasty.
This slightly hard to find gem has some of the best sushi in NYC.
oxtail fried rice , pork belly skewers , duck , fried chicken , oysters . do it
One of the best sushi places in Manhattan
Room for dessert ? The bread pudding is a must - don't think twice, it's the smartest tip here, other than the fry fry chicky chick & sushi
Must try is the oxtail fried rice and bone marrow !!! The best i've tasted so far!
Tips and raves about sushi are legit! But whats up with the tips about Chicago and Bears' games. 4square's wires are crossed! This ain't no sports bar !
Have anything on the Sake menu, it's was compiled by someone in the know with some choice selections being offered, Definitely have edimame. The Yellowfin and Toro is some of the freshesh in NYC.
Oxtail fried rice is delicious. Wish the ginger bread pudding had more butterscotch sauce though.
Excellent Sushi/Oysters/Sake. A great place to bring a date!
Bone marrow and hamachi tartare are excellent!!
Great place for a late night fancy dinner
Trendy, late night spot that’s best if you have an expense account. Spicy lobster and spicy blue crab rolls are notable favorites. - Mark Munro
Another great location for my favorite sushi in NYC. Ask for the ipad menu to select from their specials. Service is impeccable. Decor is minimalist. Make reservations! - Polina Weitz
Love this place. And love the area. But always busy and crowded. - Paco MD FACS
Great concert venue. The three levels are great, your view is great from anywhere. In summer though, beware the heat gets deadly, despite a blasting AC. Prepare to sweat. - Alcione
Enjoyed lunch at the Landmarc.... very nice cesar salad... simple dish that's almost never done very well. - paul kooi
