Palais El Badii is a historic and protected site Marrakesh
Ksibet Nhas 40000 Marrakesh Morocco
Really cool wander around. Large grounds with orange trees . Go to the terrace for great views . 10 DH admission - lots of people will tell you you're going the wrong way. Just ignore them.
I totally loved it! Ruins takes you to ancient Arabic times. The place is huge and you can imagine how breath-taking this place was before. Pram friendly . Not much space to hide from the burning sun.
Although the palace lays in ruins now, you can feel what the intended vision was. It would have been quite spectacular if they had finished it. Also a chance to escape the busy streets of the medina!
Once nicknamed 'the incomparable' as it was once the most beautiful palace in the world. Unfortunately partially ruined as its structure was used to construct another palace .
It is a huge palace ; probably you should account for at least two hours. Since We were short on time; we quickly browsed it. I would like to spend more time there.
A huge and beautiful palace to wander around with a lot to see including a mosque . They fruit trees currently growing inside and two big pools .
Visitors flock here to explore the surviving network of underground tunnels , marvel at the views and watch storks raise their young in the crumbling ramparts. Read more
Scammers will tell you it is closed to get you to follow them and charge you for their "help". The palace ruins are very interesting and worth wandering around.
The terrace in the north-east corner of the complex has nice views over the city .
Very interesting architecture / worth the visit.
Calm and away from the Medina business. The vast ruins show the past glory and you can enjoy the sight of the Marrakech sacred birds - storks .
Beautiful place with a lot of history
Beautiful place to spend an hour or two exploring.
Lovely relaxing place away from the bustle of the medina - the catacombs are very interesting!
Low ranking on 4sq (7.8 at time of this post) but we'd say it is as good as the 9.x palaces
Monumental historic site that shows the grandeur of Moroccan architecture at its peak...a must see for the space
Nice place to walk around, but not that exciting. Can easily be done in max 30 minutes.
Make sure you get a ticket to see the Minbar too. Photos are allowed apart from the Minbar, which is strictly forbidden.
Beautiful palace
Joyau artistique.

Not so much to see. May be only storks ...entrance fee - 10Dh. If u want to see mihrab not forget to pay more 10Dh at the entrance (that's not possible to buy ticket in mihrab itself)
Beautiful architecture. Would highly suggest to go early to avoid the tourists. - Joanne
Lovely place... Relaxing time there!!! Worthy! 10 dihrams. - Gina Marrugat
What a great place to spend a few calming hours amidst the chaos of Medina. Beautifully restored with immaculate precision and attention to detail. The story of the renovation is engrossing. - Darryl Collins
Restaurant Chagrouni is a good place for lunch - great place to watch the square from and tasty, fresh, good value food! - Trudie Lee
Came here twice during our weekend trip! A rare restaurant that serves alcohol in Medina. Also has a spa! - Roxy A
