I loved this airport . Was very easy to navigate though, secure checkpoints were well organized , and the VIP lounges were comfy and relaxing

Continously change your Mac Address for continuous free WiFi , or, sit under the Air New Zealand lounge that doesn't have a password on their wifi network

Free showers are available and Free WiFi is available at Auckland Airport for 30 minutes.

If you are flying Air New Zealand or Virgin you can recheck your bags after customers and send them to the domestic terminal . Then just follow the green line and take a 15 min walk over to domestic.

They provide free (buggy) Wi-Fi for a measly 30min - which is unheard of for a major airport . Other than that, lines are fast compared to other major cities .

Superb and super fast arrival as usual. Along with Sydney, the speed of getting through is miles ahead of the rest of the world.

Needs wifi . Not many food options on the other side of customs so if you don't have lounge access, I would eat beforehand. Security lines are usually pretty fast but occasionally you'll get a bad day.

The new improvements to the airport make it very easy to get in it doesn’t take as long as It used to customs me very fast now

If you have a US flight, your boarding pass usually lies about boarding time by 30mins (airport wants to get you there early for extra screening). Usually flights start boarding ~40mins before flight

Make sure you grab a ARRIVAL magazine after you arrive. It is pretty good. Lot of helpful information inside + good variety of coupons for good deals around NZ!

Limited wifi , but functional airport . Relatively fast and well-staffed. Have food before security unless you want Burger King.

Air New Zealand lounge is a bit underwhelming. Nine lighting, but busy and no obvious work area or phone booth . Make a dash for the corner. Toilets need an update, but clean and staff are nice.

Best immigration officers in the world, not matter what time you land!

Haven't seen anything good here yet. Rude staff , ambiguous indication, tedious custom&transfer process, they let you book connection flights with ~1h interval, which is technically impossible

Fairly small international airport . A few good shops. Some lounges . A couple places to eat. Most people aren't spending long hours here.

Leave time for US departures as tickets and passports checked and multiple flights filtering into the one lane

Check the ArtPort shop to bring some nice NZ art or jewellery home!
