The Fireman’s Arms dates back to 1864, describes itself as an English Pub and it probably comes as close as anything in the colonies does. It is festooned with old and characterful decorations (on a fire fighting theme). It is comfortable and a host of regulars prop up the bar.

Very nice old style soccer pub , the devil's pick first lager (golden ale ) on tap is unbelievably good!
Always the best place to watch Formula 1 or football . Several flat-screens, a projector and surround sound make for an awesome experience. The food and coffee is also well-priced and delicious.
Great vibe. Their Thursday Quiz Nights are he best quiz nights in Cape Town. Their pizza's are enough for two people: a lot of toppings.

Pretentious and very over priced - it looks like a pub but thinks it's the Grand - great atmosphere and beer , just don't eat here.
Came on a tues afternoon and they refused to honor the special. Service was very slow too, but the food was good at least.
