If whisky is your thing, then you are in for a treat when visiting Bascule. With over 500 different whiskies , from all over the world, to choose from, you will definitely find some new favourites.
This is my favorite bar in Cape Town.It's in a league of it's own.You have to go there to experience the vibe and quality of venue.I have been so many times in the last 5 to 6 years I have lost count.
Nice setting an good wine list . Especially on a sunny day a great afternoon venue including the occassional seal sighting
The quality of food was commendable - try the salmon roster or meat balls . The salads and have portions are well sized!
What a find! Tucked away and an incredible choice of whiskies . Make sure you go to the loo and pass through their wine cellar .
