The Museum of Romanian Peasant is the winner of the European Museum of the Year Award for year 1996. A short visit to the museum will convince you that the award is well deserved.

Amazing museum , it nicely tells you the tale of the Romanian peasant . Take the audio guide, especially if you are foreign! It helps a lot to understand what you see.

Love the museum overall, but as a common problem in Romania , no English translations are provided. Plus, what's up with paying money to take photos?...

The cafe at the back is wonderful. During the week they have an inexpensive fixed menu .

There are only so many plates, tools and blouses one person can look at. Skip it.

Nice place

I think it is a lot overratted. Nothing much to be seen. The exhibition seems very poor and the entire staff is playing or speaking on their phones. Save your time and money.
