Best pistachio I've had, and I've tried several of the "9's"of foursquare. Tiramisu was meh. Perfect to eat while exploring. There always seems to be a line but it's quick and well worth the wait.

World champs in '08 and '09 and there's a reason. Good gelato ; the blackberry lavender is divine. Ricotta and blueberry is quite tart , rice is nice. Still not as good as Florence's gelateria dei neri.

Had to try this cos I wanted to compare with the world champions across the square. Pretty much on par. The Greek yoghurt peach was creamy and lovely. The pomegranate was incredibly subtle, but nice.

Just in front of Piazza della Cisterna. It's called both Gelateria della Piazza and Gelateria Dondoli. Best ice cream in San Gimignano and in the world (according to their certificate)
