Beautiful hotel and excellent restaurant . Agree with the 15 quid for wifi being a rip off. Great massage by Sheena, one of the best I've had. Tranquil setting.

Sit at the bar , order a glass of water, smile at the barmaid and ask" can you remind me of the WiFi code?" You will be told it for free! Well , works for me.

WiFi is a rip off at 15 a day, restaurant needs more staff , however if u ask them they will lay a nice picnic on the lawn which is awesome.

Dinner is amazing, loved the rib eye steak . Breakfast is nothing to write home about but the staff are friendly .

Not a bad for a DoubleTree. The suite that I had 414 was in a very good shape considering that this hotel was built in 1878. Nothing in immediate surrounding area, however.

Amazingly hot rooms with no air conditions . When you call the reception, they say that there is a fan in the cupboard! Totally worst reception, never responding.

Rolling down the hill at the front is a hoot.

And the WiFi is a total rip! In this day and age it should be free. Using my mobile connection for this comment!

Such a shame, poorly run hotel . Issues confirming booking , wrong room, cold room, lights not working. Poor standard of food. But the staff were very pleasant. Management need to get organised!!

£15 for Wi-Fi is a rip-off, and the leisure facilities aren't just for hotel guests- poor advertising!

Beds are only double size which is way too small for such a hotel .

Get a massage ... Bliss!
