Went during winter and was quite nice compared to hot Universal Orlando in Florida. Mixture between both FL parks . Relaxing. Worth it with new Potter World.

Download the USJ app, jump on the free park wifi , and get the Area Timed Entry Tickets. The queues can get pretty crazy, so the express pass is also a good option.

Amazing theme park with a lots of fun ride! Be sure to come early (or even before gate open) and take advantage of the single lane queue which save almost 3-4 times of normal lane.

One of the main touristic attractions in Japan. I would definitely pay it another visit. You'll need a couple of days to get enough of this place!

Gosh! Universal Studios Japan was awesome! However,hard time understanding things because everything the characters spoke in Japanese throughout the 4D ride for Terminator, Harry Potter, Spiderman etc

Went back here again just for Harry Potter's theme. It was amazing and wonderful but you need a special ticket for entering. The park 3D & 4D are a must.

It is a must visit place in Osaka, lots of exciting rides, but it always too crowed, took my time over an hour waiting for each rider. So, without express pass , only few I could play in a day visit.

Spider-man ride was very good. We really liked the Terminator and Dragon Ball 4d theaters . But, the best thing was definitely The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The ride is worth the wait.

The park and rides are very good to spend a whole day. But without express pass you will wait long for queues. tickets can't be purchased online neither the express which is limited in number per day

Go counter clock wise & visit on weekday. Directly go to Harry Potter area since it is the most popular & likely to have long queue. Bring some food & water, meals price inside is a little bit pricey

Attractions are great esp. Harry Potter, Spiderman , & Jurassic. One major thing though, I wish tourists were provided with an English audio guide coz not everyone understands Japanese.

Must get express pass , if can better advance pre book online, sold out fast. If not definitely 3 hours queuing for sure. The Spider-Man ride is similar to the Singapore transformer ride but better.

Really love universal studio! Especially the Harry Potter Park . The only shortcoming is that the voiceover of all the event is Japanese.

Everything especially if you are a fan of Harry Potter, very enjoyable. I was also able to enjoy the Peanuts gang mini parade , brought memories of childhood days.

Great place for adults and kids. There's also a parade like 30 minutes before the park closes. Prepare your own jackets or be ready to buy the blankets there as it can get real cold.

Pre-purchasing an Express Pass package can nicely schedule your whole days visit, mix that with Single Rider Queues in between, can really limit the amount of time queuing for attractions .

bear in mind that all the shows are in japanese, with little to no english support. if you want to get the fast pass, make sure to turn up very very early, five mins past, the passes were sold out

With a bit of patience and utilizing single rider line it's very possible to experience every thing in USJ, taking Harry Potter ride twice and have a great day.

It is a good experience for what it is in Japan. I would say the American theme parks are much better, more modern attractions and themes. If you don't know Japanese, you're going to have a struggle.

You can still enjoy Terminator 2 3D here where others Universal Studios cancelled the show long time ago. It's in Japanese!

Ok so, Mario World and Harry Potter are obviously worth it BUT they definitely need to improve their endless lines . Not only for the rides (which is expected) but also for the food???

Xmas Song of Angel's light show @ 1745 + Magical Starlight Parade @ 1945 everyday until end of new year. Must see and standby the best position 30 mins before they start.

Compared to Tokyo Disneyland,feel like countryside scale. But good hospitality , very clean !! Even though we had a earthquake on an early saturday morning, lots of people came!!

The infrastructure of Universal Studios Japan is not enough in the summer. Is really hot and you doesn't find air conditioner or ventilator inside or outside of all attractions .

If you're not going on a weekday that is in the offseason, get there early and get the express pass . Trust me, it's worth it.

Came here mid February and it was quite cool yet pleasant. Best time to go would be around 6 - 7pm as the big crowds seemed to leave and ride wait times were drastically reduced.

You can buy the express ticket online buy visiting their site buy you need to select JAP Language, as it isn't appear if you choose the english, you can translate by using Google chrome.

get the Express Pass .... it's kinda steep but you can ride almost all of the rides the whole day rather line up for 1-3 hours
