Seafoods lovers take note-this is THE place for fish in Scheveningen. Open year-round and always busy. Eat in, take-away or pick up the day's catch to grill or bake at home. Enormous deep freeze too!

They serve delicious and large fish dishes which are fast prepared. You can choose your own sauce. Be aware that this place can be very crowded and is a bit on the expensive side.

Nice place if you want to eat fresh sea food for cheap with tourists within a crowded place! bird & mouses running on the floor terrace .If u want quality, service & quiet , by all means go elsewhere !

Fresh seafood , lobster at a very good price. The queue system where they announce numbers, so you can wave and they deliver the food to your table, is archaic.

The original Simonis - a lively casual "fish house" in the harbor . Order at the counter. Highly recommend for their "traiteur" take-out fresh or frozen seafoods and party "hapjes" (small bites).

Make sure you ask if the shrimps are peeled or unpeeled already - you choice of dish may disappoint you with unpeeled shrimp which will make your fingers smell like garlic forever. Food is tasty tho

You have to wait a lot. It is like a Burger King!! It is too crowded . the fish is fresh but the fish and chips are not good. You could not understand the fish due to the fried sauce .

The steamed lobster comes with melted butter which had the butterscotch aroma...quite impressive. Lobster soup was too salty.

Although the food was quite good they have a really messed up system to serve people! Waited 1 hour and a half to get all main dishes and we ate separately! Wouldn't recommend it!
