Famous for appearing in the Beattles' Hard days night. Friday night music and Saturday night comedy are always popular. Great real ales .
This is such a great pub . Great atmosphere on a rugby day and the food is much better than the St. Margarets. There is always something going on and the clientele are friendly and attracts all ages
Don't bother with the steak unless you have deep pockets or are starving to death. Ordered the £20 25 day aged sirloin on the bone medium rare and was instead served a well done, bone free rump steak
Braised beef cottage pie is excellent
It was great, still here enjoying the food, drink and banter.
Good space, well-kept beers , nice staff .
Lively pub with great venue attached
Lovely burgers !
All (esp. food) seems a bit pretentious and overpriced since the recent refurb. Oh, and don't bother going in to watch sport , the TVs are tiny and they've taken out the projector it seems...
My favourite local.
have a pint in the afternoon
Lovely big beer garden
Some great acts at a small cosy venue. Get on their mailing list to avoid missing out. - Adam Tarshis
New menu! Loads better. Friendly staff & a great wine selection. - Ingrid Trollope
Smart looking pub that was converted from a wine bar. Very stylish copper topped curvy bar. Great real ales. - Carl Griffin
Fantastic stadium feels really intimate even though it seats 82,000 people! - Rachel O'Reilly
