Best pizza I have ever had! I had the Margherita with buffalo mozzarella . It was light, crisp crusts and soupy in the center. Perfect. Really cheap around 2,5€

Chaos at lunchtime, but so fun! We grabbed some fried balls and pizzas for €6 and sat on the steps to eat. So cheap , so good

Enjoyed the margherita with mushrooms , but was so excited to try more I also ate the broccoli , sausage , and mozzarella . Worth the wait. Expect a lot of noise.

Most pizzeria nowadays show where the ingredients come from in the menu. They use organic flowers and milk . Hard to know where Di Matteo’s produce comes from, and in Naples this info matters.

Very simple place in terms of set up...also, prepare for long waiting times and not the best service as it’s super busy at times...But pizza is AWESOME and of good value (5-7 eur)

Buy a warm, fresh pizzette al forno (only 1€) and eat it sitting on the stairs of the church nearby. Don't forget to say: mmmmhhh!

Di Matteo pizza has a very long history about 80 years. The best taste of pizza is here. D.O.C. is awesome! And better than somewhere else.

Cheap and good. Went at 3pm on weekday and it was nearly empty. Staffs were nice.

You can go in and sit at a table, but it's better to grab a 1€ margherita or a cheap takeaway pizza from their takeaway window. Fritti are good, but pizzas are better.

Walk inside and get a number to order. Order a fried pizza and the diabola. Then get plastic cups of wine next door. Also, be aggressive when ordering.
