If your kind of place is one where the waitress trips with food at the top of the stairs, then 5 minutes later trips with the sauce dishes which paint the floor a la Jackson Pollock, then here you go.
Very good service , quick food and good priced grub. Only slight improvement is that the upstairs toilets could be cleaner and upstairs carpet was worn and needs replacing
Great location. Often cheaper to buy a bottle of wine than a couple of glasses. :-)
Fantastic pub with a quay you can have your fish , chips and beer on. Good for kids too. Lovely on a sunny day with walks nearby.
Enjoy a few drinks at sunset looking over the Hamble. Then go and eat elsewhere, the food is hit-and-miss.
Chalkboard specials always worth trying but a few specials are actually on the regular menu
Average Sunday Roast and avoid at busy times, unless you want to wait for warm mediocre food !
