1 of the best night markets I’ve been so far in Asia. Most stuff ranges from $1-$4 only. From souvenirs to scarfs & anything local. People are very friendly as well . Looking for a nice night stroll?
Great place to shop for souvenir goods. Haggle their's price at least -70% & experiencing your skill to bargain with the local vendors
Old market during the day time is worth yo visit to see How is the traditional market like. U can get authentic Cambodian food Where the locals go eat inside there.
The Old Market is situated in the middle of the town . An absolute must visit place when you're in Siem Reap. Perfect place to find souvenirs & tasty local food.
Good place for souvenirs . Stands mostly selling the same stuff . Skip the food/produce section, smells bad, doesnt look clean , has nasty wet floors. Never pay full price and look around before buying.
This is where the locals shop. Cheaper than the other markets in town - mostly food based produce on sale here
Bargain is a must here since souvenir items in Cambodia are more expensive than Thailand and Vietnam, IMO.
Very good finds. Good deal also. Thank you Ms. For giving us discounts ♥
Bargain as low as u can and gradually increase ur price. It can be totally fun arguing for the price!
You can get always at least half price , and even less
In two words : bargain everything ! Many selections of clothes & souvenirs .
Dried fruits . Get em all here and do bargain for it !
Clean and good ventilation but the price is triple than you can get.
Not really great for variety and uniqueness. Expect much of the same for a tourist price range. Center of town so still take a look if you are strolling around.
Fruit shakes , juwelery, fresh seafood , silk , herbs, washing powder... Just like a huge shopping mall forced into a local market , authentic though.. They all take USD
Busy place. Stay out of the fish/meat section. Everything under one roof.
~ bargain is a must.. Try discounting 80% of d price they quote initially..
Haggle and use bartering skills to get the most bang for your buck.
Located in center; souvenir section is fine, but same stuff . Avoid food section, as it smells terrible and does not seem hygenic. Don't buy anything without negotiation, as you may get at least 50%off
Don't forget to bargain around half price , or even 1/3. :)
Much better selection of souvenirs than the stalls near pub st
Buy more and get it at a cheaper price. You can name your price but be reasonable ;)
Open all day. Can bargain.
A great shopping area in Siem Reap after a tour to the Angkor Wat !!
Take a meal inside. Delicious and cheap too.
You get all your souvenirs here.
Many choices !
The central market is as like a maze of dungeon. Don't be lost! Some ATM there didn't work when I arrived.
It's a bargain out there. Have fun negotiating the prices...
Expensive than markets in Thailand and the goods are almost the same
Gettin an imitate book is relatively more expensive at the old market than the book stores near the Cambodian public bank .
Be careful when showing interest in their products. Very, very persistent sellers almost borderline scary and annoying.
You wait to you see the fish section
Don't fall @ the first store you came visit.. :D
Bargain to half price :D
Even cheaper if u pay with Riel Cambodian Money
T-shirt goes for USD2.00 each.
Cheap things break the same day you wear
bargain at least half price .
It stinks and vendors are unfriendly!
Very good and cheap !!!!
Bonito Camboya ....
