With more launches than any other NASA facility, WFF is worth exploring. Their 2 main areas (balloons, sounding rockets, planes ) are SOOO cool! Come learn about them!
Great exhibits , so cool to see the rockets used for different missions out on the yard. Nice showings about global warming and social responsibility
It's a small museum , but it's free and informative, and a nice, educational morning trip for before the beach .

Check out the new “Science on a Sphere ” exhibit featuring a 3D experience of Earth, the moon, and storms on Jupiter from a 6-foot diameter globe suspended from the ceiling. Read more

Took us about 45 minutes to go through the exhibits . Science on a Sphere wasn't working but it was still a nice place.
If you want to walk around the grounds, bring mosquito repellant!
It’s an effort, but not a good one.
