A cable car takes you up to see a beautiful landscape of the surrounding area! It's €23.50 for adults, €16 for students of Salzburg . Bring a heavy jacket and boots ! It gets cold 6,000ft up!

Mount Untersberg is a power place of earth, according to the Dalai Lama its the heart chacra of our planet. The views are amazing, only go up in good weather, otherwise take the cable car .

Make sure you get the 24 hr Salzburg pass to cover the bus & entry here plus other sights!

If you hike up: wear suitable hiking gear, bring hiking sticks, enough water and wear layers. For experienced hiking folk only: Dopplersteig ropeway , Reitsteig path equally hard, but less scary.

The Panaorama view is fantastic, but clouds can really spoil your day. The ropeway is fun!
