Pay for the food at the concession stand when you purchase your grocery . Just tell the cashier to add it to your bill and you can skip the food line plus who carries cash anyway.

If you want to bring a friend to Costco and want to use your membership card your friend has to use only cash because if you want to pay with debit the cardholders name has to be the same

Best way to shop at Costco is by leaving the wife at the door and you go to put gas in the car.
