Easy to recommend for the extensive tea selection and the food was of good quality as well . However, it is a very busy venue so not as quiet and intimate as others like The Goring hotel .

Loooove this place, quintessentially English and the most reasonable price for afternoon tea in such a great setting. The tea and selection of savoury and sweet things was perfect. Will visit again

An assortment of of teas with lovely fragrance to each one . In the same floor they have a variety of jams my favorite is the rose petal. There is alcohol free Christmas cakes this year .

Don’t overload, try lots of things. Be aggressive with asking for different types of tea and they will switch it up for you. Get the sweet scones over the savory ones.

Take your time. Choose the perfect tea blend. Refresh everything you like. Don't forget the cake stand. At the end ask them to pack all the leftovers: they have cute boxes specially for that purpose.

A place that needs no presentation. I love afternoon tea at Fortnums. Tea blends are sensational. Sandwiches and scones to die for. My best ever are cucumber and mint butter sandwiches ! <3

Scones are a letdown, being dry and crumbly. Savoury scones and other pastries far better. Great jams and unlimited finger sandwiches and pastries make it worthwhile.

I’ve been to several places for high tea , and this has by far been my favorite. The pastries were not too sweet and the finger sandwiches were light. For once, I did not feel too bloated.

Just an absolutely beautiful place and experience. I recommend to do the normal afternoon tea and not the high tea . The high tea isn’t worth it.

I really love the place but today they were extremely slow. We waited for our two drinks for 30minutes! The service was really unapologetic and unpleasant- especially Ms Gosha!

Regular afternoon tea comes to £90 with service included. Very traditional and good for parents, with extraordinary service. But I have had better high teas for lower prices elsewhere.

After a hectic start and forgotten champagne , the food and service were good. The live piano is a lovely touch.

The roast beef and horseradish sandwiches are immense! I had to have seconds. Plus you can take any leftovers home, including the jams .
