Had hotpot in Chengdu and the experience is almost identical and authentic . Spicy is means spicy which is great. Don‘t be afraid to taste some of the things that are unusual for western menus.
We had the beef (regular and spicy ), lamb , shrimp balls and a lot of veggies . The spicy beef was amazing. The spicy broth is genuinely spicy , so stick to the one chili if you want to play it safe!
