The castle views are beautiful, but the single glazing makes it hard to sleep at night with noises from the bus stops & road outside

Great hotel ! Try the crab lasagne in the restaurant on the ground floor -- one of the best things that I have every eaten (and I'm very good at eating and enjoying my food!)

Great breakfast and all the restaurants are wonderful.

Disappointing stay. Although I am a regular at Waldorf Astoria hotels around the globe the Caledonian was a big disappointment to me. The bar & brasserie are good though.

Get a room with castle view . Splendid!

Don't order room service - portion is less than half a bite - who is this new stingy chef ?!?! Check out my salmon cost me nearly 20 pounds for main course and gulped in half a bite

Until update note this is now the Waldorf Astoria it's had a refurb and upgrade

The hotel is being renovated, so beware of the building work. But to be fair it is not that disruptive. The iPod dock in the room is a nice touch.

They block the HDMI ports on the TVs so you can't watch Netflix on them :(
