There is an art zone on the first floor - but pick up a pass one hour before the class starts. The waterways exhibit is awesome and fun for toddlers. There is so much to do at this museum !
We have been to this museum many times.Such a good place to take the kids out. Lots of different things to do. It is a great location at Navy Pier with several options for entertainment and food!!
Endless child fun.....endless. Art , sand piles, dinosaur bones, climbing ropes. If you are an adult you may need coffee afterwards. If you are a child you might have a good cry when you have to leave
Best museum to take kids! So many interactive exhibits , and they have good adult spaces to rest as well
If you join the museum with parking privileges, it's really worth it. You can take your kids for short visits and not worry about $20-$25 parking fees.
The museum is free after 5pm on Thursday's. A great thing for families with multiple children.
Best time to come is after 12pm...all the schools on field trips are gone which is nice for your 3yrs old and younger kids :D
The CCM was founded in 1982 by a coalition led by the Junior League of Chicago in response to program cutbacks in the city 's public schools.
