No aircon when I visited but many interesting exhibits are here. You’ll need about 20 to 30 minutes. It’s billed as Solo’s oldest museum (established in 1890).

Patung Ronggowarsito yang terletak di bagian depan Museum Radya Pustaka #KotaSolo. Ronggo Warsito adalah pujangga terkenal Keraton Surakarta (1802-1874).
Isinya barang-barang pusaka, jadi dibakarin kemenyan..Weekend tetap buka, hari Senin baru tutup. Tix price : IDR 5k (lima ribu rupiah), tergolong mahal menurut saya :(

Benda-benda jawa kuno (keris, dsb) banyak disini.
The museum has so much potential, it makes me sad to see it neglected. For example, I saw beautiful handmade miniature dolls in glass cases filled with cobwebs. (August 2018) - Matt Raft

Entrance only allowed from House of Danar Hadi (store). Ticket is IDR 25000 (around USD 3). Guide included. A brief historical on batik's heritage, and personal collection as well. - Helman Taofani
Originally very grand architecture. Extremely interesting for people interested in architecture. Unfortunately not maintained very well. Still interesting to wander around. - Angus Thomson
