Very nice hotel for Lubbock. Good conference place and close to football stadium if you are a sand Aggie

I really enjoy this hotel and all it's amenities but beware: As of Aug 2012 Overton no longer offers the Gov rate, EVEN IF YOU ARE ON GOV TRAVEL & HAVE PROOF. Lovely hotel in LBB, but not for gov ppl.

Great hotel !! Unfortunately, the stash reward doesn't accumulate as fast as Hilton... Staff varies on competency. Called re: reservation cancellation (took a while to do) and still not heard back

The gentleman who sings live on weekend nights is amazing and covers some great country classics.

Nice hotel , but when its windy you can smell cow poop from the feed farm that's 15 miles away. It's very unpleasant...

Ask for a room toward the top floors: good views of campus from up there. Pretty reasonable room service prices also.

Make you drink the coffee in your room because they don't offer free coffee in the lobby.

Get to the bar before 6p..gets crowded fast.

First time in Lubbock, TX... most exhausting 6 hour drive I've ever experienced!

Late night room service ? Go with the Gouda mac n cheese with ham and bacon . Mmmm. Zzzzzz
