Had a good stroll at 前门大街 shops are built in ancient Chinese architecture , do take a left and enter 大栅栏 and 杨梅竹斜街, there you will experience the quiet life of a hutong . Really amazing.
One of the oldest and famous pedestrian streets of Beijing! so many shops and restaurants around this huge area, all connected by the main central street
A lot to shop here! From modern shops & cafes to little alley street shops selling souvenirs and clothes and food. You can get strange food here too like wiggling scorpions deep fried on sticks.
Recently renovated, this shopping street gives the atmosphere of old Beijing. There are a lot of famous traditional shops. You can ride the new tram !
Great pedestrian area for tourists . You can feel the Chinese culture and spirit. Beautiful architecture and delicious food on a stick.
A lively neighborhood . Totally worth the visit. Get lost in its alleys and enjoy people watching .
Famous Chinese restaurant Quanjude is in this street. Most delicious Beijing duck . Street looks great in the evening.
Don't be afraid to deep into old hutongs nearby. Real chenese life starts there.
Nice shopping experience for tourists . Cultural buildings. Things here are cheaper than in wangfujing. Famous food here, i.e. Quanjude duck & Dou Yi Chu dumpling restaurants .
You will get crazy at the prices right behind the streets in the alleys .
Good if you want to get that traditional Beijing feel. Avoid eating here though.
This neighborhood used to be legit dirty stalls and overcrowded cramped streets until they made it into Beijing Disneyland Main Street PRC. Now it's nicer but soulless
Check out the Small train .. And also be careful!
Famous pedestrian street , it has history of more than 570 years.
I'm alone backpacker. There's good and bad things in China.
Very nice area
Avoid bus rt 82 around noon if you're heading north to Luoguxiang, use rt 2 or the subway instead...
Beautiful street, but too commercialized.
Beautiful!
If you can't negotiate, don't go here. You've got to play the game.
Stop and grab tea !
Nice place, full of ppl and with free Wifi at Starbucks :-)
Too touristy and the only thing I always buy here is the hawthorn skewers 冰糖葫芦 and other haw snacks. 相声 tea houses in the neighbourhood is not as good either.
Pekin'de buraya gelin ben sevdim
باز هم از اون خيابوناى بومى و محلى و دوست داشتنى با رستورانهاى محلى و خوب و ارزون و مردم اصيل ..

Crowds and lines are big so come in earlier to pick up your number at the desk. Then go for a stroll around the area and come back when your table number is up. And order duck! It's a must! Delicious! - Marcin Grochal
To be in Beijing and don't taste dinsum is sin !! You have to try real China. Tasty and cheap !! - LiLi S.
