Hailed as a prize-winning curry house , Aladin shows you a whole new world of disappointment. The food leans towards the sweet end, and is unremarkable. The highlight was the appetizer dish.
Cheap and cheerful, I've had two good dining experiences here so far. The Ceylon curry is slightly unusual - medium spicy with delicious coconut sprinkled through. Yum!
Was recommended to visit here for spectacular Indian food ... it tasted great and fresh, but not spicy enough for any of our party and it was well worth the visit but not unbelievably amazing
Good quality curry . This place is not exactly BYOB . Their system with alcohol is basically a guy working at the door getting it for you from the local off licence.
Good food but make sure that you get the waiters attention and that they apply the discounts offered on the final bill! #cheeky
Relish Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Indian food at Aladin, which stands out among Brick Lane’s overwhelming Balti options. Friendly service , plenty of vegetarian options , and BYO wine and beer . Read more
Fair dinner . Husband had tasty vindaloo . Hiriyali was a bit too sweet--like it was prepared with mint jelly . It was tasty but not for a whole meal. Would come back but would order something else.
BYOB with no fuss, and generally tasty food. One of the better options among many on Brick Lane.
Balti Chicken Kashmir - that's my indian food ! For those who like mild! And with coconut rice makes a perfect meal!
mis-sold that you can anything off the menu , free wine and beer and poppadoms. Once seated it's not the case. Staff were rude & denied the offer. Also found a hair in the yogurt sauce . Bad experience
Fantastic food and byob ! Great service too!
This is not the best curry house in London. I feel dirty and used
Amazing food, Mayan was a great waiter !
I was expecting a lot more from a London curry house . I came from Berlin were most Indian food is just not done right. While the food may be just good, this place has no advantage over anyone there
the worst indian food I've ever had. their prawns are actually shrimps and their pilau rice is just a boiled rice coloured with food colouring. whaaat??
had the lamb tikka masala , lamb was was hard, sauce was gritty. peshwari naan was nice though
Lamb madras was my favorite
Food Awesome, Horrible service. Never change in the four times went there. That's part of the experience ;)
Lamb curry is fantastic
Try the Bombay chicken ! Tasty!
They don't serve alcohol here but you are welcome to BYOB !
Apparently they only acknowledge online reservations that are 3 weeks in advance, so book then
Excellent food.
Perfect show ????
Don't bother with the Phaal. To the experienced chilli pallette it just tastes like scooping cheap chilli powder in your mouth. (To the inexperienced palette it tastes of nothing as it's too hot.)
Amazing food and very very good costumer service
Delicious...service is good too.
Book on internet for 20% discount !!
Disappointing food, really didn't expect it to be so bad. And the pricing compared to the quality of food , isn't acceptable.
The chicken dupiaza and dhansak were heavily sweetened and quite disgusting. Far from authentic flavours so best avoided
Cheap indian on famous Brick Lane.
Very average food. Even with a welcome drink & 20% walkin discount it's still not cheap ! Don't believe the hype.
Book in advance and ask for an upstairs table.
Actually the food is not bad - one of the better curry places on brick lane
The food here is simply not good. Go to dishoom or south hall instead.
Worst curry I've ever had. I thought India's knew how to use spices. No flavour at all. P.S I had the Dansak
Avoid - better elsewhere. We sent a dish back because it wasn't edible. Sauces were bland and watery.
Avoid at all cost! Lousy food, lousy service. Not even drinks! How can all go wrong?
Poor service!
Lugar limpo, com dois andares. Comida indiana barata e bom atendimento.
Cabrón de delicioso.
Lezzetleri ve servisi beğenmedim.
Ben moi j'ai bien aimé les curry , dommage pas de lassi , mais bon accueil.
this place is amazing. great atmosphere and incredible food. good for a snack or a whole meal. easy on the wallet - Marcus Harris
My fav curry restaurant on brick lane! The saag aloo and tandori king prawn are delicious! - Frederik Samuel
Excellent service and delicious food. Try the chicken madras if you like spicy. Don't miss out on the garlic naan. - Karen
A must in brick lane, the salted beef is really good (cheap eats) - Andres Schondube
One of my faves! Great beers on tap along with a good selection of guest beers. Had food and cocktails downstairs, great burgers, pimento balls, and decent chicken wings. - Dani
