Worth a visit for the nostalgia value, but the museum has really seen better days. IMAX is expensive . Regular activity days for kids during school holidays.
A must see place to visit exhibitions are always changing home to IMAX and the Cubby Broccoli Cinema . Pictureville can be found next door
Some of this is very basic and other parts are very interesting but you can get through all five floors in about an hour. The cafe sells very tasty food too.
Great free museum , lots to keep kids and adults entertained for a few hours. The cafe is fantastic too.
Great place to visit. I especially lived the retro gaming section. See if you can beat my time on Mario Kart (Donkey King Jr on Ghost Valley 1).
The flatbreads are delicious. Try the one with goat 's cheese and cherry tomatoes !
Brilliant place known to most locals as the Telly Museum . Cafe 's a bit steep but the book/gift shop is great and the exhibitions are excellent
Some of the exhibits bring back floods of nostalgia .
An excellent way to spend 4 hours. Lots of things to interest everybody. It's free too. Go!
Take a trip down videogame walk of fame. Everything from pong, space invaders, doom, to gears of war are all here for you to rediscover!
The gaming room and the TV experience gallery are fantastic
Visit the world's first single lens moving image camera ! Did you know the first film was made in Leeds?
This place is amazing. It doesn't get enough credit in my opinion.
Worth a visit if you're into photography . Def check out the Insight Gallery (appointment only) for a fab collection of old gadgets...it also has an IMAX :)
Check out the New Media collection preserving some of the best blasts from gaming past - remember the NES and the Mega Drive?
The retro game area was great!
Fantastic place to see a movie
Coming soon! Hallmark's Treasured Memory Exhibition , have you cast your vote? You can do so here. http://bit.ly/NJG285
Fun day with my baby girl
Everything
Check out the news presenter section - its good fun.
If you let them know at the bar , they'll give you a non-glass container for your beer , to allow you to take it into the cinema itself
Disappointed by the much-hyped IMAX screen. Anyone over 5'5" will find the seating really uncomfortable! I saw Interstellar here and was left with a really sore neck :-(
The Games Lounge in the Museum foyer is a whole load of retro gaming fun!
Arrive early and make use of the small but well stocked bar , hidden at the far end of the ground floor
Go to the TV Heaven section and watch some of the classic TV
Great free day out. Read more
