در سال 93 با پیشنهاد احمد مسجد جامعی و با هماهنگی میراث فرهنگی خانواده انصاری این خانه را با مبلغ چهار میلیارد خریداری و سه میلیارد صرف بازسازی آن کردند. برای استفاده بیشتر از فضا، سقف حیاط مسقف شده
این خانه در اختیار فرزند شهید مدرس بود تا دهه ی سی شمسی که به احمد کتابچی مالک کتابفروشی و انتشارات اسلامیه فروحته شد. مالک فعلی آن دارالقرآن امام علی به مدیریت محمد انصاری برادرعلی انصاری است
نمونه یک خانه موزه عالی که زوایایی نادیده از ساکن مشهور خانه را نمایش می دهد. هر شیء مرتبط با آیت الله مدرس در اینجا جمع آوری شده است از اسناد عفو قاتلین و پرداخت حقوق به آن ها تا مجسمه و تمبر و کتاب
معماری قشنگ دوره قاجار...۳ تا حیاط بسیار دلنشین با حوض های زیباتر????ماشین نبرید چون گذشتن از کوچه های تنگش کار بسیار سختیه...یا اگه میبرید دورتر پارک کنید
در سال 82 مجلس بیش از یک میلیارد تومن برای خرید خانه شهید مدرس بودجه تصویب کرد اما میراث فرهنگی با این پول خانه نصیرالدوله در انتهای کوچه رو که در رهن بانک کشاورزی بود خرید که هنوزم سرش دعواست
بازسازی تر و تمیز و خوبی داره. تو حیاط اصلی هم یه سایه بون بزرگ اضافه شده که نسبتا مناسبه. فضای دلنشین و قشنگی داره. برای دارالقرآن هم استفاده میشه ازش
از خوشکلیه اینجا هر چی بگم کمه.
