This place was incredible. Apparently the inspiration for Dishoom in London. The owner is 96, still works there and talks to all the customers. The chicken berry pulav blew my mind. Delicious!
Great atmosphere. Mr. Kohinoor is a sprightly 90 yr old who'll spin the most wonderful tales. Oh & the food is great too. Chicken Berry & Mutton pulav, veg dhansak and Bombay duck followed by custard
Mutton berry palav, boomla (bombil) fish which is a speciality and delicate fish raspberry drink N caramel custard which is probably the best I hav ever had.
Cool old school tea house with a friendly and eccentric owner who makes it worth the visit himself. Good food especially the berry pulavs.
Perfect retro ambiance. Food is good. Food is finger licking. An ultimate delight for relaxation in leisure. Berry pulao sets the standards of its own!
Mumbai is known for its Parsi cafés . These are small, mom & pop run places, with authentic Parsi cuisine. Make sure you go for evening chai , and bun maska ... as well as some berry pulav.
Please do not miss this spot. Try the Chicken Pulav, the Bombay Duck and the caramel custard . But above all, engage with the owner, he is a piece of breathing history and charm.
Great ‘Parsi’ restaurant - traditional Irani food. Drink the raspberry soda with the main course . Finish with an Irani tea and egg custard
What a lovely place to have lunch at. Make sure you do prior booking . Berry chicken/mutton pulao is a must and chocolate enthusiasts must try chocolate mousse . It's just too good.
Faded glory & awesome food. Creme Carmel is the bomb ????.. so is the Parsi Berry Pulao.
Combine the brilliant mutton & delicious chicken cutlet , awesome mutton salli boti, superb chicken berry pulav , yummy caramel custard & sweet Pallonji's raspberry soda for an unbeatable food high!
The salli chicken and the berry pulao are a must to eat and fresh lime compliments it perfectly also for dessert one must not forget the chocolate mousse
Berry kheema pulao .. Those berries from Iran make this place a must try at south bombay!
Old school charm coupled with delicious food. This place just rose to the top of my all time favourite restaurants in Mumbai. Must try the Berry Pulao!
Britannia and Co. is not just an iconic Parsi restaurant in Mumbai, but a definite must-do on every tourist’s bucket list.
The best parsi food! Mutton berry pulav, sali boti and kheema pulav!!! And don't miss the fresh lime soda and caramel custard !! + the added charm of my favourite uncles! :D
The food is pretty limited. But good. Portions size is larger than expected. Difficult for a single person. Great in groups. Closes by 3:30pm afternoon.
Awesome Iranian and Parsi food! Chicken Berry Pulav , Fish Patra and the Mutton Dhansak are the main dishes to try!
1950's ambience.. Great chicken dhansak and cutlets ! Berry pulao is a tad sweet for the palate. Limited menu, delicious food though!
Delicious & historic place founded by Persian descendants. Try to meet the owner. He'll weave a tall tale involving U.S. ambassadors, fighting guard dogs and the secret Coca Cola recipe.
The old man is simply legendary! If you speak German are currently travelling through India, check out my e-book for an alternative view on this wonderful country : http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00ASB6V72
Lovely place and delicious food. A must in Mumbai .....
Amazing food and warm hospitality by a true gentleman Mr. Kohinoor.. Try anything and you'll love it
Very good though I would avoid the berry pulao. Slightly overrated to my tastes. So try the regular Parsi stuff. Dhansak, Cutlet gravy etc.
Dhaansaak, Veg Berry pulao and Raspberry drink. Ofcourse don't forget to ask at counter about Today's special that are imported from Iran / Iraq.
Berry Pulao nothing else. 'Fresh lime soda sweet to beat the Mumbai heat' thats what the old parsi gentleman would tell u with a spl eye on girls
It's nothing like it used to be. Chicken Berry Pulao has more berries than chicken . And the quantity has reduced and price doubled. It's as expensive as any other eatery now. Service has gone down too
love the beri pilaf.. and the old funky munky that shows u how the queen hung out or somethin here
The Kheema Berry Pulav is absolutely delicious! Not really spicy and full of flavour.
Must meet the old Parsi uncle he's the owner who started Britannia!! And must have berry pulav and sali boti !
Excellent parsi food. Great service. But maybe a little over priced.
Must get the berry pulav. Owner is also really friendly and chatty!
this 92 year old gentlemen has got stories to tell for each of us from different countries .. lovely place
Mutton Berry Pulav is heavenly! Finish the meal with an equally divine Caramel Custard !
The chocolate mousse is to die for! Also, the berry pulav is a must have.
The Dhansak and berry pulav are to die for. Don't miss out on the pet cats!
Berry pulao, caramel custard chocolate mousse , raspberry soda ....stuff to die for....
Must to have the raspberry with your food, the most refreshing Bawa drink
One of a king Parsi restaurant .. Awesome Sulli Boti, Dhanshak and Mutton Berry Pulav
Sali boti , Berry pulao, fish pathra, caramel custard
The Caramel Custard is probably one of the best I have ever had. Do not give it a miss!
Berry pulao is great. The owner is a charming guy to have a conversation with.
Biryani was so delicious , best lunch I had in India so far

Expensive, but worth it.

The lebanese salad is bliss! The hummus was still warm and the veggies were cut in front of my eyes. Also very lovely & caring staff. - Mika Lila
