The beach at the St. Regis resort is beautiful.
There is nice snorkeling to be had once you go out 10 yards or so. The farther out you go, the bigger the fish get!
If you're staying at the St. Regis , go out late, after they put out the pool torches. The sky is incredible; I saw the Milky Way clearly for the first time, here.
If you're staying at the St. Regis , a beach attendant will come around with complimentary pineapple skewers !
