No observation deck . My dentist is on the 69th floor so here’s a peek of the view . The lobby elevator only takes you up to a transfer point on 57 floor; there’s a smaller elevator to get near the top.

Despite housing the Chrysler headquarters for 20 years, the company never owned the building. Rather, Walter Chrysler paid for the construction privately to insure its inheritance by his family.
There is no observation deck or any formal tour . It's best for tourists to run in and take a quick pick of the ceiling and run out so as not to annoy those of us who work here.

There are stores and shops in the lower arcade open to the public.
It really is sad there is no observation deck in the building. I feel sad for the tourists when they bounce in the lobby and realize that's all they'll get to see.
