Just before the northernmost checkpoint on Hwy 1, pull into the parking lot on the left, hop over the barricade on the right, walk down to the sea and a fresh water spring. Perfect spot for your dip .

The places where you can enjoy relaxing in Dead sea without paying huge amount of money are getting short ... Try small not official road northside from Ein Gedi Hot Spring resort . Park and walk down.

Hard to talk about someplace that has so much history around the area. Swam/floated in the Sea on Dec. 28 and had a great time. Another bucket list place marked off.

Salt can ruin everything but a must-visit. No life & buoyancy make it safe but be careful of tides. Water shoes recommended unless you're ok with wearing communal shoes ☀️

Come early, most beaches close at 16h and be careful with the salt crystals you can hurt your feet.

After drip in dead sea for 10mins then put on dead sea mud for 10-15 mins until it dry then back into dead sea to wash it out then scrub with sand and wash with normal water.

Don't put your head in the water! Just one drop in your eye will be quite painful. Avoid the public beach as much as possible they're overpriced.
