Humble, intimate and excellent - food and experience. Pick 3-5 dishes (2ppl), sides, drinks and share accross the table. Almost everything is made from the ground up by staff - and it is excellent!

Great food and service! The place is tiny so make a reservation . Try clam rice and sweet potato chips ; dishes around 7€, reasonable prices for the quality. Wine is amazing.

If you are looking for a very good original portuguese restaurant . Go to Taberna sal Grosso. Smal and just nice! Make a reservation .

One of the best meals we had in Portugal . Tastes were well balanced and triggered our senses. Go for the cod tails, the sting ray and the duck gizzard . The smocked belly was a bit dry for me.

You can't really go wrong with this place - it's sublime. The cuttlefish and stingray are favourites, but there's so much more. Book ahead and also try their sister restaurant (Salmoura).

The Tomato and Fig salad was sublime. I could eat another right now. Love that they brew their own beer—and if you’re really lucky you might get to try some of their bomb ass moonshine .

I tried catch of the week, orange salad , french fries and roast chicken . Everything was super good and tastefull! Service was nice and friendly !

Excellent lunch - we had the lamb stew , smoked pork belly , squid rice , sting ray and corn bread . Sting ray was ok. Others were fantastic.

Good authentic place in the middle of oldest neighborhood of Lisbon - Alfama. Typical food, regional wines , lovely atmosphere.

Our son was visiting from New York and took us here twice, everything was good but i especially enjoyed the oxtail and seafood rice .

Get the orange salad . Super refreshing. Then have the cod confit . It’s to die for.

Incredibly good food, flavourful and different from what we had before - meat and fish dishes , local and not very expensive - we payed 36€ for two including drinks!

Sweet potato chips - gooood and crispy , octopus rice - ok, roast chicken - fvcking delicious, codfish cakes - ok. Service and atmosphere-excellent.
