Lovely pub converted from the Naval offices of HMS Vernon. Great real ales .

Potted duck with Chutney & Rib Eye steak - excellent. Meals served at the bar too.

The food is incredible value, considering how delicious it is. The drinks are a bit pricy . Nice calm atmosphere , and very clean .

Excellent glory hole in the toilets . Good sailor service. Ahoy there!!

Sunday lunch is fantastic. Get the Captain's platter for extra meat.

Hard to find a seat, but really well nicely done up. There are heaters outside so not too bad to seat out back instead :)

The ploughmans cheese board is excellent, but order it with extra bread

Be prepared to pay top dollar for your drinks, nice sat outside in the summer though

Wi-Fi is only accessed using code display at pub . it's changed on a regular basis.

OK for a quick drink or two and maybe lunch . The patio can get a bit dirty , as the staff don't seem to efficient when it comes to clearing tables and cleaning up.

£2 for a small glass of milk for a give year old?

Loud , crap music . Busy, full of families with small, bored children. Smelly food fug. Beer ok, if too cold.
