Definitely steamers to start, then go for a barge (shrimp or clam are my favorites). Long waits are worth it.

Their signature clam chowder has come down a notch ( too much starch and flour) , but their seafood and corn bisque make up for it. Try their fried clam roll too. Delicioso.

The BEST SOUPS!! I compare ALL seafood bisques to Nicky's and NOBODY comes close. Excellent steamers too!

Get the clam bisque while waiting for the ferry . It's basically New England clam chowder vs. their normal Manhattan style.

Take the train that doesn't connect and enjoy a crab salad sandwich & lighthouse pale ale in a frosted glass until next ferry ...truusssttt
