This is a really great place, reveals multi-cultural face of Skopje. There is a brotherhood between religions and cultures. My favourite advise must to see this historical, lovely place.

Get lost a bit in the old town of Skopje. A must for any visitor here. Go inside the little shops. People are usually very friendly .

Skopje Old Bazaar is the best representation of Skopje. You can see many historical monuments , you can try traditional Macedonian food, drink rakija, buy souvenirs and meet interesting people.

Even disposed and pushed of by authorities for years, still the most original and authentic part of the city . The real Skopje.

The best time to visit is at night when you can feel the old times . If you are a shopper there a lot of shops to buy modern stuff, but don’t expect to find spices etc. Restaurants are mostly fastfood .

Wonderful place to enjoy a drink and watch the world walk by.

Sleeping in the old houses in the Old Bazаar gives you morning when the sound of the nearby church and mosque is mixed in the air while you're walking the old stone-rode like in the old french movies .

Eat kebabs - 10 in one portion. Drink rakia with shopska salad . Have a 1/4 burek with minced meat with yoghurt . Welcome to Skopje.

Nice old Turkish Bazar .. filled with all kind of shops and stores old history buildings coffee and traditional Turkish Tea ..

If you want to feel the traditional spirit of the town and get away from the traffic, this is the right place

Old time atmosphere. Stone roads . Mostly flat. some roads slope . So many old time design stores AND showcases. slow life. Some stores Closing early before 7 pm. Absolutely worth visiting

It seems a touristic place but foods are delicious in each restaurant . I did not eat bad kebab in old city , actually in all Macedonia.

Authentic old market , cheap fruit and vegetables . It doesn't open really early. Most crowded at 12ish.

Somepart of ottoman empire still living... Real downtown of skopje. Every streets are smelling history and every stone has diffirent stories..
