A bit out of the way to get to - you have to cross the river - but it's a tucked-away place providing a great insight into Kuching history.
good place for u to know more about sarawak , very active to promote and bring the history to life, the entrance fee might consider expensive but..(check out there page to know more) trust
It's now a Police museum , with the brook gallery looking like it's been demolished; it leaves you wondering what value history is given in Sarawak .
Still in the process of renovation. Walked from the sampan following the signs past some of the locals' homes and school. The guard opened the gate to let us walk ard. No holding the handrail though.
Went around 10+ am a week ago and there was no one around. Pretty eerie. They closed many sections so there's really nothing to see. Walk with more ppl, the way in from the river is very isolated
Sorry. It is still close for maintenance during our visit on March 2014.
Disadvantage is that there is No toilet here
Best historical place to visit, but they didnt keep the bushes clean
It's currently closed for maintenance until Oct 2013. They should have put up a notice before the climb! Urghh
The walk uphill at noon is tiring.
Closed when we went there on Feb 2015. Government should had take initiative to promote this place.
The government should really do something to spice this place .

What an amazing place. Here you can see and learn so much about Borneo. The building is a bit old fashioned but it was what we wanted to see. Admission is free which is nice. - Abi Azren
