Another fun photo site. Try the giant trees next to the river . They lean out next to the water and have room for a family to all sit on one branch. Great location for a photoshoot.
The butterfly exhibit is really neat! It's included in admission so it's a must see when visiting Zoo Boise in the summer.
Much better than it was 10 years ago, but still a small-town zoo . The animals are out more in the mornings and any time the weather cools down.
Fun! Heard lion roar , butterflies flew around us and landed on us in butterfly exhibit . Made great memories for our family.
I have grown up here and am pretty impressed with what they have been doing with the zoo here! They have added so many things the past couple years! Great family fun !
Make sure to hit the Monkey exhibit more than once. You never know what you're going to see.
Great place to go to get a break from traveling. A lot of stuff to do in the area park as well .
Awesome family fun
Spend the 3 bucks to feed a giraffe - amazing experience not to be missed

The Monkeys by the entrance are Xrated, the butterfly exhibit is amazing... pack your own drinks
Nice place for the family!
Not too impressive. Very small. Went in the middle of June and there are either no animals in their location because they've taken them to Madagascar? They hype up exhibits ...but their not much to see
Giraffe viewing outside the zoo .
Only $3 at 10:15, you can feed the giraffes !! It's worth it!
Perfect place for a family outing !
There are currently raccoon nests on top of the wallaby cage. Look up and you might see the masked critters wandering around.
Feeding the goats is so much fun with kids! Soooo cute !
doesnt matter what time of day or yr most of the animals.are.always asleep
This is a sad little zoo . Every time I have EVER gone. Including recently half of the animals are never out. It is over priced for such a small zoo .Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City was the same price.
Feed the giraffes . Great time.
Come ready to party!
Parking spots are non-existent.
Check out the butterfly exhibit !
Half price on Thursdays!
lions are very active today...lots of play and lion roars !
feed my sheep

One of the largest and most amazing parks I've had chance to walk through especially for all the big open spaces - Brian Ibarra
The Dog Pond behind the hill is cool and a great place to catch tadpoles. Farther down the trail is a nice little creek. There's frogs and water skippers in it and it's great to picnic by. - Megan March
Great park with lots of wildlife. It's right on the river so there are many insects. Be sure to bring insect repellent if you are planning on a bbq or something of the sort. - Dustin Hughes
the rose garden is simple but lovely for pictures. The gazebo is perfect for closeups with a shallow depth of field when it is crowded. The flowers make a great backdrop as well as a foreground. - Marit Welker
It's such a great place! And you can visit for free during the first Thursday of the month! - Thabata Regiani
Fantastically fast & easy w/their self check-out! And always someone right there to help the cornfused...best store for the little guy it could hope for! - Carl Madison
