The special soy sauce they use to drizzle on the chicken certainly worth to be comment. The fat bean sprout and cuttle fish pork ball a must to order too.. Come early to avoid long waiting list
Reason i came back to this particular restaurant is always because of their soy sauce drizzle on the chicken dish .Is so fragrant with chicken oil smell.Meatball is also one of the highlight and tauge
If you’re gonna eat chicken rice , you should eat the thigh or leg or wing (and not the breastmeat cause its much tougher) but i love breastmeat n it was great! love the beansprouts too!
Chicken rice & taugeh was surprisingly really good. Alot of people, incl locals come here so we had to wait for a table. But the service was fast after we sat down!
Even if they have the best food in the world, their attitude is what that keeps me away. No more coming back.
The hor fun taste better than lou wong . Rmb to mention how many portion you want to order cause it will be really large portion if you order by head count.
Best chicken in town ? I approved! I personally prefer here than Lou Wong as it taste really good!
A must visit if in Ipoh. Good authentic taugeh chicken rice . The auntie boss was friendly and offer directions to nearby places.
Went there in the evening, everything was sold out except chicken , pork balls and bean sprout . Chicken and pork ball are alright, the bean sprout is nice. In general, nothing fantastic to shout about.
Loving their special sauce and their juicy bean sprout however I think their chicken is so-so. Drinks are great too!
Surprisingly, onn kee taste nicer than Lou Wong , less oily, and onn kee has "vege garden chicken " and the chicken is more tender :)
Chicken meat a little overcooked and tough to bite. Recommended home made fish balls . Delicious. :)))
Chicken and beansprouts with hor fun or rice ! Their homemade fish meatballs are yummy.
More expansive than Lao Wang. Chicken Lao Wang better. Tauge Ong Kee one better (big and tastier). Pork ball so-so only but the soup Ong Kee better. One pax portion around RM24 (not cheap ).
Only hor fun , bean sprout & pork ball are good. Chicken so tough ????
Fresh chicken and taugeh, even chicken breast meat are tender. Good service too
To be honest, there are much better chicken rice options in Ipoh or KL, Onn Kee & lou wong are basically tourist attractions . The steam chicken is hard and tasteless, not to mention drop in quality
Chicken is soft, bean sprouts are crisp & sweet!
chicken meat taste smooth and juicy. The restaurant has air-con facilities as well .
Tauge and chicken is good, fish ball soup is kinda sweet.. worth a long queue
Most xxx food n service...nothing great ...those who says its good obviously dont know wat is chicken rice ..toilets r deplorable
Poached chicken and kuehtiao are ok. Meatballs too salty.
???????? i really like their chaxiu ! Superb delicious!
Chicken , bean sprouts and hor fun . Never goes wrong!
The chicken has less fats and taste wonderful with their unique fragrant soya sauce
Love the pork ball and chicken :) fresh ! The soups ' perfect too . Better than Lou Wong
I don't really like taugeh ayam... so i won't say it's very nice, but maybe still "must try" because it is Ipoh's iconic dish
This stall is the stall that Ipoh people would go to, much better than Lou Wong !
DEFINITELY better than 老黄!! Local will choose Ong Kee n only tourist will go for 老黄
The chicken was tender and tasty. Highly recommended
Poached chicken , bean sprouts .
Kampung Chicken . Tender and fresh. Yummy. ^^
Tasty with reasonable price.. must order chic , tauge, hor fun & pork ball ♡
Only the soya sauce is special.. Other than that it's just normal.. Something you can get anywhere in KL..
Check out with the been sprout!! it's well cooked and crispy
Buy some goodies back and distribute... badly brought up crackers and biscuits ...
Custard ! And of course the cicken
Nicer eating environment than Lou huang, at least the waiter won't shout at u as in Lou huang. Food is as good as Lou huang, no different
I personality think that the Worker and service over here are better than the Lxu Wxng .
Love their chicken so much
Very crowded . Chicken and hor fan are good.but you can get the same thing in klang valley nowadays.
The place itself is really entertaining - starring by the chinese version of "Roseanne". Food means "chicken with sprouts" which seems to be the only dish. Food is average, service doesn't exist...????
Love the fish ball soup here..tasty and aromatic!
The bean sprouts & chicken are delicious
Chicken is just okey, not too bad but not as nice as expected also. Bean sprout literally no taste at all, like some normal dish. :/ Just because of many ppl come here and make it famous only
Many famous celebrities visit here before✌????️
Their attitude is unacceptable, make sure the portion you ordered is not too much, they will give u large portion if you diam diam. Their toilet is terrifying dirty .
pork ball is big & taste good.. but dont go for their rice , its just plain rice n hard
Love the fishball!!!
If you don't quite like chicken wings then better tell them in advance. Seems like they tend to give the wings if there's no special instruction given.
