Small, unassuming, with humble, well-prepared food. Known for empanadas filled with meat or seafood , and for fried cuttlefish , stuffed eggplant and paella . Often a long wait for the few tables.
Exitazo. Bar de mercado , platos caseros y tapas , ambientazo los sábados en Sta Catalina . Infalibles: paella , ensaladilla , albóndigas , sepia , bacalao , berenjenas rellenas ...Y muy bien de precio
Muy rico el frito, el pica-pica y la ensaladilla . Las albóndigas un poco secas . Sitio altamente recomendable para una cervecita con picoteo
Incomparable bar en el Mercado de Santa Catalina , cocina casera , tapas , cocas , panades , cocarrois, y todo elaborado diariamente por la familia Frau.
Muy bueno el frito de matanzas! Y los sábados se pone muy bien de ambiente.

I had a beautiful carrot and ginger soup for lunch, w homemade gluten free bread. The waitress was super helpful and suggested the gf lime cake which was delicious. I’ll def go back to try a coffee. - Ali Robertson
