Looks like a cheap place but the food is really good. Take the Bratkartoffeln with your fish . Comes with complimentary bread and sauces and a side salad .

You should not leave Hamburg without having tried Karo Fish . Get the Karomix to get a taste of everything. The place might be crowded so come early. But it's worth the wait.

The salmon was cooked to perfection and tasted so good! The veggies and grilled potatoes that come with the fish are also delicious (although note that the potatoes contain breadcrumbs ).

If you are a vegetarian or vegan and end up here, get a side salad and a side of Bratkartoffeln (grilled potatoes ). It's the only non-fish they have but it's tasty, cheap and surprisingly filling.

The renovation and inflation become noticeable: Fish mix now 17,90€, a glass of Chardonnay 4,80€. But large portions and also super fresh, worth nearly every penny.

Fish&chips are yummy, karomix is perfect - a bit of everything (: Worthy fish , good price, nice service . Crowded/sometimes a big queue outside, but definitely worth it.

Relaxed fish grill, good price / value. Cold atmosphere but good food and friendly service - 5 tables or takeaway . Busy place!

Love Karofish ! Friendly waiter and super cheap fish dishes and taste awesome.

Unfortunately their portions have become smaller... Their fish dishes are still good, but you may need to order more than one.

Horrible service. They completely forgot about our order. We got the salad more than one hour later and the fish came more than 1.5 hours later.

Nothing fancy or groundbreaking, but really fresh fish is always delicious.

Stay away from the garlic sauce otherwise you will feel it for at least 2 next days!

Karomix is the safe option. Try everything!
