The famous castle of Rethymno, Fortezza, gives a great view of the harbour , the old town and the center of Rethymno. Great place to visit in town .

Fortezza Fortress is ideal for a romantic walk at sunset . This great museum also hosts art festivals and theatre plays and boasts very nice views of Rethimno from the bastions .

Worth the price, you can feel the place has history. Go into the art gallery and see all the cats as well . Take lots of water with you or buy some as soon as you enter, take change for toilets

Best place for sunset and drinks at the bar . Nice view over Rethymno on one side and the Crete ocean on the other side.

Much bigger than we thought but well worth the effort, interesting history, make sure you go down to the storage areas

The snack bar just inside the entrance to the right sells water, drinks, ice cream very cheaply! (Was €0.50 for water bottle when I was there.)

Classical Mediterranean castle . I’ve seen a lot of same ones. Btw, those were free to entrance , this one is not. Don’t recommend to visit.

It's a very beautiful place! But very hot because there or not many trees or other places to hang in the shadow .

Очень жарко в сезон. Смотреть особо не на что. Единственное, что красиво - мечеть на территории и виды с башен на Бухту.

Прикольная крепость . На входе у билетов бесплатная карта крепости на всех языках . Почти всё разрушено, объектов для просмотра мало.

Напротив форта есть красивый ресторан! Мы позже поняли почему в нем нет посетителей.. Когда получили счет за 2 мороженных и кружку пива в 25,5 евро... Это чистый развод....

немного разочаровали ожидания от крепости и города , это в общем; а так - для галочки посетить можно, если располагаете больше, чем 2 недели ...

Вход 4€, работает до 20:00. Красивый закат .
