Head to Point Imperial, then look to your right. You'll see a small path leading to a larger rock where you can stand for amazing views .
Worth the 5 hour drive from south rim . Hike the Kaibab trail to & through the tunnel but start before 8 to beat the mules & heat. Tunnel itself isn't that impressive but the view on the other side is.
The north rim is more picturesque than the south rim , make sure to stop off at vistas along the way to get some great pictures. Also keep an eye out for buffalo, there is a herd in the park .
Much less crowded than the south rim . Windy but pristine views . Camping here is a delight if you can handle the cold.
Love it here not a lot of tourist getting into your shots. Very peaceful and has some cool trails .
Not to be missed. Stunning vistas .
The view is fantastic. They had a fire drill and everone had to go into the parking lot
I have been to a lot of national parks and this was the rudest maintenance staff I have ever encountered. The Canyon is beautiful of course though.
The porch of the campground store is a nice place to sit in the sun and use the free WiFi ... Doesn't seem to be available anywhere else!
absolutely gorgeous, can be chilly, stay for the ranger talks, very informative!
Get a lodge , it is absolutely worth the money!
Less commercial than south rim . It seems to be much colder here but that is a great benefit when hiking .
The showers here feel like being attacked with a pressure washer. Of course, what skin is left is very clean !
Outstanding view and feeling
Grand Canyon North Rim is more remote (closed winter) but IMHO much more interesting than South Rim . (Note that Arizona does not observe daylight savings time, so when you head south you lose an hour.
Closed from Dec 1st - May 15th for winter on the north side. Great motorcycle ride... Read more

No crowds compared to the South Rim .
The best way to experience the Canyon
Hike the Uncle Jim trail and use the toilet on the edge of the Grand Canyon 's North Rim .
SPECTACULAR!
La parte nord del Grand Canyon è meno affollata di turisti, meno commerciale e più bella da vedere. Se potete, dormiteci e cenate nel silenzio del Canyon.
