Rawon aka black soup happening in Surabaya. A must try

So according to the local that the name of the restaurant was taken from the first time the restaurant was opened, which is after midnight. The rawon was quite delicious.

Rawon, mixed with rice makes an enjoyable meal. The beef is tender and meaty.

Tasty but prices a bit expensive . Rawon per plate is IDR31000. IDR37000 for buntut (oxtail )

The taste's very nice, but the price's............ just like a devil :-O

Black meat soup

Hmmm, too pricey for an average tasting Rawon soup . The broth is too light and the meat isn't tender enough. I just can't see what the fuss is all about. Overall : average.

Doesn't worth the money.. 1 set of rawon setan with rice already costs IDR37k, and the sinom drink 1 glass costs IDR12k. rawon only serve with 3 small pieces of beef . Not a fan of it.
