When it's good it's second only to the regency for fish & chips . Service can be rather random depending on the day and who you get.

When sat outside it's best to sit at a table in the sun - it's freezing in the shade, even on a hot day.

Lovely to sit by the window and look out over the sea. They do a celebration meal which includes a glass of champagne which is quite value.

Chips are vegan - cooked in vegetable oil separately from the fish . The portions are big - I shared a small!

Service was appalling. Waited 1/2 hour for someone to take order then 45 mins more for the food to arrive. Had it not been for 5 hungry children in tow we would have left. Outrageous! Food was just ok

During half term they may leave the sign out front advertising a deal on their fish and chips , but they won't honor it. Good food though.

Food is fair but took 40 minutes for the food to be served in a staggered basis. It is a very busy place.

The scampi was good! A decent portion as well .
