Perhaps give Monkey Beach a miss and head to Kerachut instead? Beach is quieter , cleaner and it's a more enjoyable (if slightly harder) walk. Bonus: turtles at the sanctuary there ????

Our guide said that it was the smallest national park in the world. There are a few trail options, lots of stairs and muddy parts so don't go after the rain. Bring water. Don't feed the monkeys.

Walk to Turtle beach , then take a boat to Monkey beach and hike back (c. 4-5 hours) Make sure you wear proper hiking shoes and leave enough time for spotting lizards, monkeys & butterflies. Bus 101.

The view of the seaside is about the same as moon light bay , which is more accessible. Also, its is a bit too commercialised as boats made hourly visits to kerachut and monkey beach to blurp out ppl.

Great place for some walking in the trees . Scenic coastline. Make sure you book your return boat before you set off at the park entrance!

Good hiking trail . But when it rains. Oh goodness me my no nuh uh. Ain't trekking when it's raining. Plus, pantai kerachut has turtles . How cool is that?

Great nature walk and hike . Bring your own water n snacks . Monkey beach at least two hours one way if you stop as often as we did. We hiked w our 11yo.

The walking trails are in bad condition after the first 500 metres... entry is free. Be better idea if they charged even 5 ringit entrance and were able to fund some track maintenance.

Great place if you wanna go for hiking , no worries, the track is quite ok if you’re a beginner like me haha

Don't miss the turtle conservatory and hanging out under the trees looking out to the beach and the sea!

Be careful with monkeys, they may b aggressive when you just open your food. Especially at the rest station at beginning of the pathway under the tree .

Trail up to 1st junction is easy & kid-friendly. Beyond that there are clamber & scamper stretches. Trail also gets muddy if it rains, so bring boots .

Nice gateaway from George Town , 4 RM by bus , no entrance fee

Another point of interesting here is meromictic lake .

Its around RM 200 per boat. ANything more is a rip off.

Genial para una pequeña aventura, por 100RM nosotros hicimos la ruta hasta la turtle beach y luego volvimos en barco. Vimos crías de tortuga en la playa pero en la reserva . Recomendable.

Есть тропы, чтобы побродить. А вот с пляжами туго — купаться разрешено только на обезьяннем, том что на севере .

Senderos por la jungla, naturaleza en estado puro. El sendero a la monkey beach estaba cerrado y solo pudimos hacer un trozo. Les falta tenerlo mejor conservado.
