Take the last tram tour if you can to get a beautiful view of the sunset over the Everglades .

A great way to see the Everglades in an environmentally friendly way. Not crowded in early June. Ranger was a great guide and we saw lots of gators , birds and turtles . No mosquitos at all!

Take the tram ride out to the observation tower to get a good background on the Everglades and a sense of the vast scope of the place. Take mosquito spray if they are in season (most of the year).

Bike rentals now available. It's about a thirteen mile round trip on the Shark Valley tramway.

If you take the tram tour sit on the driver's side. Better view of alligators in the canal on the ride back.

Get the yearly pass if you live in Miami. It works in all the Everglades parks .
