The best beach in CT! Not great for swimming but this is a gorgeous play for pictures and a picnic on the beach . They also have a great boardwalk along the beach here. It never gets too crowded either
Great CT beach . Free public access and parking . The beach is about a 5 min walk across the boardwalk from the parking lot .
Sand has many seashells. Wear water shoes . Toilets are ports potties, not too nice. Beach is very quiet and peaceful .
If you're on the sandbar or the island , remember the tide comes in quickly.
