This pub has stood in the Guildhall Walk since it was built in 1916. The mock Tudor style and exterior has been preserved to this day, through many renamings and rebrandings.

The White Swan Brewhouse & Kitchen underwent a charming renovation in September 2015, with more tables, a revised food and drink menu, more screens for live sports , and a more rustic interior design .

Fantastic Ploughman 's sharing platter @ £12.50 just enough for two for lunch with a pint of ale . Highly recommended.Staff very nice, and happy to let you try an ale !

Fantastic food, loved the 3 starters for £10, and wish everything would come in brewhouse batter. Staff are really great too, very helpful and genuinely lovely.

When the pub runs tours of their brewery , which is in plain sight on the right as you walk through the door, you'll be able to taste the delicious crunchiness of the raw hops.

When looking through the menu be sure to take note of the selected beer by your meal of choice and give it a try. These guys know what they're talking about.

One of the only pubs in Portsmouth, if not the only, where you can try a pint in the same place it was brewed. There are even opportunities to see the brewing in action.

Amazing beer and food! If you're in Portsmouth stop searching for a place and go there. Smell inside is abit weird though (It's a brewhouse)
