Da Gianni is my fave italian spot in basel. Service is great and the fresh pasta is amazing! my faves: fusilli w/funghi porcini , gnocchi al pesto , gnocchi al deliziose, and carbonara..all outstanding!

I don't like the pizza's . Never tried their pasta though. In general i'd give it a rating of 6/10.
Pizza is ok. Margherita is good. Veggie is not good. In my case the base was burnt.

Awesome beer (Scneider Weisse)! Great ambience and food (Try pasta arabiatta with chicken). Try also minestrone soup. Grilled fish with lemon is worth eating as well. - Amit Gaharwar
