Very sleek and relaxing during lunch hour. I had the poutine and it was superb. Loaded with cheese curds . Friendly and attentive service . I will be going back to try something new each time.

Paul Griffith

Sweet, attentive service . Fantastic poutine and French onion soup . Just a short walk over the bridge from the heart of Winnipeg. Live music at night; cool room.

Harold

The poutine is probably the best in the city . The chicken tenders are really good too!

Kiirsten May

Try the poutine . It's the best in town in my opinion. The gravy is bar none, and it comes with real cheese curds .

Rob B.

The Pesto Chicken dinner is fabulous. Left my mouth watering for more. Great for fellow bacon lovers.

The White Star may be the tiniest of diners, but it's big on charm. The burgers and sandwiches are messy and delicious, so put presentation aside and enjoy some homemade flavour. - Metro News
